Soaring NV is holding our 12th annual Wave Camp in Minden, Nevada, one of the world’s prime soaring spots!  Is wave camp for you? If you are a beginning pilot, glider pilot, record seeker, sky watcher or just a person interested in the phenomenon of wave, then the answer is a resounding ‘Yes’! Not only will you learn how to predict wave, but you will learn why it happens, where it happens, how to fly in it safely, and how to get out of it if you find yourself in amazing lift. For anyone interested in attending, there is a $300 registration fee. This fee covers snacks, the final banquet, an awesome Wave Camp tee-shirt, and access to all the amazing speakers we are lining up on a variety of wave and soaring related topics.

We would encourage any clubs interested in attending to come with their gliders, and as many members, as you can rustle up. The Minden-Tahoe Airport will offer complimentary tie-downs during Wave Camp. Soaring NV will have our fleet ready to fly, with a group of veteran, experienced instructors on-hand to accompany attendees on flights, and provide check-outs and wave instruction.  Special room rates are available at the Carson Valley Inn for Wave Camp attendees, for hotel rooms, motor lodge rooms, and RV spots.
